Young Professionals Network

Young Professionals Network was created to give professionals in their early career stages the opportunity to connect with like-minded people and to get into the business community between Spain and Finland. The community operates under the Spanish-Finnish Chamber of Commerce (CCHF) and together they aim to foster and grow the commercial relations between the two countries by connecting people across industries. 

Our operations started out in the beginning of 2026 with a sold out launch event. The event really reinforced our beliefs about there being a need for this kind of network and we are excited to see how far we can build this community. There’s a lot of opportunity for collaboration, innovation and growth when people from various backgrounds come together. YPN was created to provide a platform to foster these opportunities.

Our main goal is to provide value to our members and we do that through the events we organize. As part of the Spanish-Finnish business ecosystem, in collaboration with the Spanish-Finnish Chamber of Commerce, we have direct access to the Embassy of Finland, leading Finnish corporations operating in Spain, and an extensive network of professionals across industries.

At the core of our event production is to provide substance. We bring carefully picked and vetted experts who bring genuine insight and practical value to each topic. At the same time, we have moved away from the traditional event format to better reflect the expectations of the younger generation. In practice this means moving away from sales-driven presentations, generic PowerPoints, and unfocused panel discussions that lack real impact.

Our events

We make sure every topic and event is designed to focus on the perspective of: what would I need to know about this topic as a Young Professional?

What we offer:

We actively involve our members in shaping each event by gathering their perspectives, questions, and areas of interest in advance. This allows us to curate discussions that are focused, coherent, and aligned with the needs of the community.

By doing so, we eliminate irrelevant tangents, self-promotional agendas, and low-value content.

Based on insights gathered from our launch event and broader network, we have developed a range of event formats, including:

  • Thematic deep-dives (e.g. AI, startup governance, green tech, etc.)

  • Community dinners

  • After-work gatherings

  • Hands-on workshops

In addition, for 2026 we have agreed with the Chamber’s board that all YPN members will have complimentary access to the Chamber’s events.

We strongly believe in the long-term value of this network and are confident that our members will experience and recognize that value firsthand.
