Come and recharge in nature together with the Finland-Spain Chamber of Commerce!
On May 17, 2025 we will hike along Sendero del Agua, one of the most famous and beautiful trails on the southern slopes of the Guadarrama mountains. The trail will take us through oak and pine forests, across streams and green meadows, and past cherry and maple trees.
Along the way, we’ll enjoy views of the Siete Picos peaks and the bottom of the Fuenfrías valley. The route features forest clearings, wooden bridges, and mountain streams like Arroyo de la Ventan, offering a blend of shaded forests, mountain scenery, and the tranquility of nature.
Route details
The 9km walk takes roughly 2-3 hours. Difficulty level is easy to moderate, so expect a pleasant Saturday. See details in All Trails site.
How to get there?
If you are traveling without a car, we recommend taking a train/bus from Madrid arriving in Cercedilla at 10:30. A more detailed schedule will be shared closer to the event.
Group Lunch
After the hike, those interested are welcome to join us for a relaxed group lunch at in Cercedilla village – a great opportunity for casual networking and recovery. Each participant covers their lunch.
What to bring?
• Good walking shoes, a water bottle, and weather-appropriate clothing
• Make sure you have space on your camera or phone – the scenery is worth it!
• And of course, a positive and adventurous attitude!
